Simply Registrations is in no way affiliated to the DVLA or DVLA Personalised Registrations. DVLA is a registered trade mark of the Driver & Vehicle Licensing Agency. Simply Registrations is an independent company dealing in and supplying personalised number plates to UK motorists. It makes no difference whether the company you choose to purchase your personalised number plates from is based in Swansea, Sheffield or Southampton. Being a government organisation, the DVLA has to remain impartial at all times. For this reason it would be improper of any company to claim a special working relationship with the DVLA.

The majority of our company owned registration numbers are plus v.a.t. because Simply Registrations is a v.a.t. registered business. Personalised number plates that we are offering for sale on behalf of private individuals are generally not subject to v.a.t. The asterisk symbol next to the price indicates that v.a.t is chargeable on top of the published price.

There are several official terms used by the DVLA. The combination of letters and numbers is either called a registration, registration mark or vehicle registration number.
