About Simply Registrations - Private Number Plates Company

Buying and selling private number plates was originally a hobby for James Saperia in the mid 1990's. James wanted to make enough money to get a deposit together to buy his first house. He learned the trade and became familiar with the DVLA paperwork, systems and procedures.

The house was purchased in 1999. However, James discovered he really enjoyed the fulfillment and satisfaction that came from helping people acquire their ideal personalised registrations.

James had already done business with some of the established cherished number plate dealers. Friends and associates would also approach James for help and advice when transferring their own car registrations. Progress was being made on all fronts so it made perfect sense to continue this rewarding enterprise.

In February 2005, Simply Registrations - the private number plates company in Wakefield, West Yorkshire was formed.

Private number plate ownership is no longer just for celebrities or the super rich. There are now over a million motorists with private number plates in the UK.
